Signage for the Financial Services Sector

The evolution of technology has transformed the African financial services sector where the uptake of mobile and online banking has led to the micro branch concept.

With customers now being empowered to conduct many traditional banking transactions on cellphones and PCs, banks have been encouraged to open smaller branches in retail centres and on high streets to act as service points for users of online banking.

At First African Holdings we have been fortunate to work with organisations like Capitec Bank which has opened more than 500 branches in the last decade.

As well as providing shopfront signage such as light boxes we also run active maintenance programmes for many of our financial services and retail clients. This is particularly important where illuminated signage has been installed as lighting failures will typically only be noticed at night and are thus unlikely to be reported by staff working conventional office hours.

During maintenance inspections, we will check globes and in many cases we will upgrade conventional lighting to more cost effective and longer lasting LED lighting.

Over the years we have also provided signage solutions to a variety of banks and financial institutions, both locally and internationally, including Old Mutual, ABSA, Citibank and MCB (Mauritius Commercial Bank).
