Mauritius Commercial BankPort Louis - Mauritius
MCB is the largest retail and institutional bank in Mauritius with its head office in Port Louisand a network of 40 branches across the island. We were appointed to manufacture a pylon sign as part of the bank’s head office renovations. The sign had some significant complexities with a range of curves adding to the engineering challenges.
Without our Solidworks 3D software it would have been impossible to create an accurate 3D model of the sign and ensure that it was capable of withstanding the worst of the Mauritian hurricane season.
Capitec is one of South Africa’s fastest growing retail banks. Since its foundation in 2001 it has created a network of more than 500 branches across the country. We have assisted them with their site upgrade programme, supplying and installing a range of internal and external signs to more than 500 of their branches.
We worked closely with Capitec’s branding team to produce manufacturing drawings which became the template for the flat and illuminated signage.
When Capitec changed over to Simplicity, we re-branded it.
Ghana Oil approached First African Holdings in 2011 with a request that we manufacture a full suite of signage for two of its new retail sites.
As we were provided with detailed designs and specifications by the client we were able to prototype, manufacture and ship a full set of pylons, canopy fascias with LED lighting, logos and letter sets, canopy columns which included a unique column unit representing elephant tusks, and ACM cladding for their car wash and vehicle service station.
Citi Bank - Cairo & South AfricaCairo
We worked closely with Citibank’s UK project manager to on the project to brand the new Citibank building in Cairo. The world’s largest banking group occupies a landmark site in Cairo’s Garden City and its signage requirements were exacting with significant attention being paid to the manner in which the wordmark logo was prototyped and manufactured.
In addition to the two signs we supplied in Cairo, we have also supported Citibank’s South African network with a number of local installations
Sonangol, the Angolan national oil company refurbished the organization’s filling stations. Starting off with the manufacturing of signage for around 15 new service stations initially, we have increased the supply to significantly more stations throughout the region.
Our work with Sonangol has extended to manufacturing and shipping pylon signs, canopies, shopfronts, directional signage, column spreaders and bulkheads.
