3 Shopping Centres, 5500m2 of Cladding in Progress

First African Claddings (FAC) is busy with 5 500 square meters of cladding for 3 shopping centres in 3 different provinces, and using 3 different products from their cladding solution product offer.

Architectural Mesh are being used at Chatsworth (KZN), Fibre Cement at Benmore Gardens (JHB) and

Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) at Centre Point (CT).

Total Airport Road Signage by First African Holdings

TOTAL (Exports)

In March 2015,  First African Corporate Identity,  who is a preferred supplier of Tair signage for the Southern African zone, conducted a training for Total Zimbabwe’s consultants & contractors to educate and inform them about the requirements of the new Tair signage.  Van Heerden De Wet (Operations Manager) and Gerrit Human (Technical Manager) represented First African Holdings, and Gerrit focused on the electrical wiring requirements of the new Tair signage.

Fagron Healthy Ageing Institute building

First African Claddings (FAC) clad the Fagron Healthy Ageing Institute building in Northclift, Johannesburg with fibre cement architectural panels.

Equitone's Tectiva TE80 fibre cement panels were chosen for this project.  FAC did the Fagron Signage as well.

The client was Bartlett Construction and B2, the architect.

Redesigned Total service station featuring a digital high rise pylon, canopies, columns and other modern signage elements.

TOTAL (SA)

Total is one of First African Corporate Identity's longest standing clients. Back in 1990, Rimm Engineering (one of the companies we acquired as we grew and became First African Holdings), supplied Total with the red panels used on their canopy fascia and shop fronts. 

We later supplied the AWLGRIP paint used to repaint signage on 600 sites across South Africa. Although this paint had a five year warranty, 12 years later many sites retain their original paintwork.

Athol Square Fibre Cement Cladding done by AfriClad

Atholl Square, Sandton

Atholl Square is Sandton’s splendidly convenient neighborhood centre and situated on Katherine Street.  AfriClad, subsidiary of First African Holdings, was contracted  to supply and install Equitone fibre cement cladding.  Shabangu Architects was the architectural firm on this project.

Sonangol (Angola)

The Angolan national oil company is rapidly rolling out new fuel stations across its war ravaged territory with First African Holdings supplying the contractor appointed by Sonangol to refurbish the organisation’s filling stations.
