First African was founded in 1998. Over the following two decades the company grew into one of the largest manufacturers and installers of corporate signage in Africa. Currently, we occupy a 4 000 m² state-of-the-art facility in Somerset West, just outside Cape Town, South Africa. Our facility includes administrative and engineering offices, along with factory floor sections for CNC Routing, CNC Letter bending, Acrylic, Electrical, Vinyl, Blasting, Spray Painting, Curing, Steel, Assembly and Dispatch.

ISO 9001:2015 Certification
At First African we put safety and quality first in every element of the manufacturing and installation process. In 2006 we achieved our first ISO 9001 certification and have maintained it ever since. First African was certified on the new revised ISO 9001:2015 standard in 2017. This certification covers all areas of design, development, manufacturing and installation of corporate signage and building claddings. We can therefore provide our clients with the reassurance that their projects will be executed to the highest possible standards.
